One Day Intensive

This is the deepest look you have ever had at yourself.

What We Do |
Intensives involve four components:
1. Understand what you are in the middle of. This involves a detailed evaluation beyond your symptoms to uncover what you are struggling with, including: dilemmas, home life, relationships, career, lifestyle, life and spiritual direction, substance use, diet, exercise, and other possible problems you deal with. 2. Understand how you have come to be who you are. We take a thoughtful look at your early life development, past conflicts, traumas, philosophies and core beliefs, major milestones, hardships, challenges, setbacks, fears, losses, and other possible problem areas. This helps us piece together how you relate to the world and conceptualize your problems, and why your past efforts have not succeeded. 3. Provide a detailed profile of the problem. Vague explanations lead to vague and unhelpful answers ("depression" is treated with an antidepressant and cognitive behavioral therapy with little result). We do something much different. With the detailed history gathered, we craft a highly specific explanation of what your true underlying problem is. We discover the exact nuances and subtle complexities that are often missed, and unlock more targeted solutions. 4. Map out your personalized path forward. We all know what to do (maintain close positive relationships, do meaningful activities/work, eat healthy, exercise, sleep well, and avoid substances). We go further and identify your exact next best moves to make. Those can be psychological, relational, spiritual, behavioral, lifestyle, medical, etc. - it depends on what we uncover. You come away knowing precisely what you need to do to finally break through your individual psychological and emotional barriers, and move forward in life. |
